The Story Behind Unshakable
The idea for Unshakable came from a simple image: what does faith feel like when the ground itself seems unstable?
I liked the contrast between movement and stillness. Instead of writing a song where strength meant overpowering everything around you, I wanted the center of the song to be about remaining grounded while the pressure keeps coming. That gave me a way to treat faith as something structural, not just emotional.
Loriena Drift was a natural fit because electronic music could make the instability part of the experience. The low end could feel seismic, the builds could create pressure, and the chorus could open into something much larger without losing the central idea of standing firm.
Creative Notes
I leaned into a big-room progressive direction with earthquake-like sub bass and triumphant brass-synths, so the production itself could suggest the world shaking beneath the listener.
For the artwork, I moved toward a giant circular shockwave radiating across a collapsing landscape, with Loriena standing at the center. That visual captured the song better than a literal earthquake scene because it connected the physical idea of impact with the electronic music itself.
