Old Wine in New Bottles

A reflective folk-rock song about how musical tools keep changing while the human need to create, feel, and connect remains remarkably constant.
Old Wine in New Bottles follows the long arc of music-making from primitive tools to modern technology and asks what actually changes along the way. The instruments, recording methods, and creative systems evolve, but the impulses underneath them remain familiar: love, grief, anger, wonder, memory, and the need to reach another person. The final Sivra Dark direction is intentionally outside her usual heavier lane, with fingerpicked acoustic guitar, brushed percussion, warm tape saturation, and her smoky vocal carrying the song with a more intimate, unhurried feel.
