Joe checks in on how his AI stack has evolved, and how much has changed since his last podcast update.

Nearly his entire music catalog is now available on Joe’s Digital Workshop, with 110 releases across 8 artists and 37 styles. Behind that expansion is a custom-built JDWS Manager that made organizing, publishing, searching, and working with the catalog dramatically easier.

But the bigger change is the move toward agents. Joe now has 16 specialized GrokBot agents covering different parts of his personal and business life, including IT, coding, marketing, finance, maker projects, privacy, historical notes, and more. He talks about why separating those roles has been useful, how valuable long-term AI memory has become, and why he is increasingly interested in building a vector-backed knowledge system around the things he works on.

The episode also explores what happens when AI moves beyond answering questions and starts helping build the tools themselves. Joe discusses using ChatGPT and Codex for websites and software, creating a new manufacturing knowledge resource, and developing custom inventory and quoting software for his business.

More than anything, this is a progress report from inside the workshop: what is working, what has become possible, and why the rapidly improving state of AI is changing Joe’s assumptions about what an individual or small business can build for itself.
